The story

It was supposed to be a sort of technical stopover while waiting to leave for Hong Kong and Macau, but instead the internal unrest and the occupation of the airport by anti-government protesters kept us stuck in BKK for the entire week. Mind you: there are worse things than being stuck in the most beautiful city in the world!!! For Hong Kong and Macau there will, I hope, be another opportunity. NOT TO BE MISSED: 1. the Royal Palace. 2. A ride in a Tuk Tuk discovering the lesser-known Wats (also count on a couple of stops at the "sponsors" --> gem or shirt shops)
