Taiwan, second time The plane lands at Taipei's new airport. The flight was lovely, on a China Airlines A340 from BNE. Here Marco, my travelling companion, and I take the chance to do a bit of shopping; at the airport duty free I buy a little radio-controlled electric helicopter - they were flying it right in front of us at two metres off the ground, incredible how such a tiny gadget can fly, and it doesn't even cost that much, and no wonder, we're in the temple where they build them. Marco buys a few memory cards, and I pick up a couple of mini DV tapes for the camcorder. The flight back to Italy, again an A340, is ready; a shame we'll have to stop in Bangkok - what a pain - evidently Taipei to Rome is too far and they have to refuel. Bye
