The story
It was a trip decided overnight... I went to Myanmar with a group of people, but in reality I experienced this journey in solitude. It's the best way to enjoy this mystical landscape, and above all to talk with the local people. They are all smiling, even though they live under a cruel and unjustified dictatorship that our beautiful, clean Western world never talks about. A 15-year-old boy who worked as a waiter at Inle Lake, Zaw In is his name, earned about 2 euros a day, and he even asked me whether where I live (in Italy) we see the same sun they see. This boy sums up the people of Myanmar at their best. They have so much to give and in return they ask for nothing.
