Maldives... a Corner of Paradise

Destination: Holiday Island - Dhiffushi - South Ari Atoll...

A dream that comes true... when you fly over the atolls by seaplane you say to yourself "... it's just as I imagined" no, perhaps it goes beyond imagination... The "Maldives experience" is unique... I say experience because in the Maldives what matters, besides a splendid sea (but you can find that elsewhere too), is the feeling of peace and absolute tranquillity... never as in the Maldives do you feel overwhelmed by nature... on a small atoll lost in the Indian Ocean, far from the frantic world... Dhiffuschi, the atoll where we stayed, was, needless to say, splendid... with a long jetty that welcomed you... an impressive lagoon... the bungalows scattered along the beach, each with an outdoor bathroom and shower in the garden... direct access to the beach and an outdoor shower on the veranda..... and under the stars at night you really think you're in paradise...

I won't dwell any longer on the description, because the Maldives shouldn't be told but lived...
