Between lush forests, rushing rivers, unexpected silences and an emerald-green sea... what a surprise the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur are!!!! In Malaysia you find a melting pot of ethnicities, cuisine, colours, an exciting blend, and the step between the primordial and the modern dissolves within a few metres... now you're moving among the stalls of China Town and a moment later you're struck by the majesty of the Royal Palace, then you tilt your head back towards the sky to take in the incredible height of the Twin Towers. And just outside the city you find yourself breathing the forest, enchanted in front of the fireflies, savouring fruits with unimagined flavours. But above all it was Malaysian Borneo that struck us most. The day spent spotting proboscis monkeys along the Kinabatangan and the one spent admiring orangutans were the most beautiful of the whole trip...
The tour was organised with hotelplan, but here, unlike other destinations, it wasn't up to scratch. The trip is worth it for Sabah and the beautiful sea of Redang. But the city of Kuala, often criticised, has a lot to offer too.
