The story

After having been to Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Osaka, a visit to the city of Hiroshima could not be missing from our tour.

In Hiroshima the first atomic bomb ever used in a military conflict was dropped. "Little Boy" was dropped in 1945 by the Americans, and the explosion caused the immediate death of 130,000 people.

Here we visited the famous "A-Bomb Dome" and the Hiroshima Memorial Park, which also contains a museum commemorating the enormous tragedy.

I invite anyone wishing to visit Japan to come here and visit this place, and not to skip the visit to the museum in particular; it will be a very moving visit that you will hardly forget...

Overall the trip was nice, but in truth we expected something more; it didn't feel, as people always say, like being in another world, something we did have on our trip to China.

Greetings from the travellers Claudio and Valentina (Japan 2010)
