Japan. Traditional. Technological. Philosophical. Refined in art and architecture. A short tour to meet up again with a friend and plunge into the most hidden recesses of Japanese culture. We visited the wonders of technology in Tokyo. In Nikko we visited the shrines and temples listed as UNESCO World Heritage. We were enchanted by the glorious splendour of faith and history in Kyoto. In Nara we visited the Buddhist temple Todaiji, the Shinto shrine Kasuga and Nara Park, famous for the more than 1200 deer free to wander as they please among the crowds of curious tourists. We dwelt in the poignant memories of Hiroshima. We did not miss the visit to the most beautiful castle in Japan, the famous "samurai castle" of Himeji.
