The enchanting island of Java

Indonesia isn't only sea and Bali: it's also culture and landscapes with few equals, both present on the splendid island of Java. From a landscape point of view, the Dieng Plateau, the countryside (to be visited by bicycle) of Surakarta, the Kawah Ijen and above all the mythical Bromo are unmissable. On the cultural side, Yogyakarta, Surakarta and above all the temples of Borobudur, Prambanan (with its related theatrical performance about the temple) and the bizarre Suku Temple are interesting.
