By Boat in Hong Kong Donato and I land in Macau, and right away we take a big red boat, a catamaran kind, that shuttles between the former Portuguese city and Hong Kong. Inside it looks like a Boeing 747, but with many more rows of seats. Entering the city of skyscrapers by sea is much nicer than arriving by train from the airport or by bus. You see so many more things, above all ships at water level. The skyscrapers are many and, strangely for me, also appealing; it's well known that chaos and concrete don't appeal to me much. As soon as we get off, we go through customs, as if we were at an airport, passport control and so on; I don't understand, given that we're arriving from a city that's under China, like Hong Kong indeed. Donato and I are catapulted into the chaos of the city; luckily tonight we're sleeping at the airport hotel. The next day, flight to Helsinki with Finnair MD 11.
bye
