a fascinating journey into a world different from the one we are used to in Europe. In particular, the autonomous region of TIBET, probably also because of the difficulties in getting there, is the one that creates the greatest expectations, but also the greatest fears, linked to the high altitude. You cannot, in fact, go to Lhasa thinking of spending a normal weekend without first doing the proper acclimatisation, if you don't want to run the risk of AMS (acute mountain sickness), which could seriously compromise your stay. It is, however, certainly a journey you remember on your return, for the landscape, for the religiosity and for the people. A destination that is certainly difficult, but one that you can still tackle by using your head.
