A week at the Settemari Seabel Rym Beach village, with excursions in southern Tunisia, to the surrounding islands and within the island of Djerba itself. A very nice village, suited both to families and couples, located on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the island (I've heard of people disgusted by their stretch of sea, because in some places it's more of a marsh than a beach); it's worth highlighting the daily cleaning of the seaweed deposited on the beach, a natural phenomenon but not very pleasant, which apparently doesn't always happen in the other resorts. A fabulous period to visit Djerba and southern Tunisia (first week of September), thanks to the bearable heat, the relative drop in visitor numbers and falling prices (in any case low compared to other Mediterranean destinations).
A highly recommended destination, provided you include at least 3 types of excursion: in the desert, at sea and in the island's souks, but be careful about who organises the excursion; I recommend relying on agencies and not on improvised local operators. Without leaving the village, it would feel like spending a holiday in any Mediterranean resort. Impeccable tour-operator organisation, despite the many negative reviews read on the various online forums.
