Arrival in Mombasa from Milan Malpensa, transfer to Arusha (Tanzania) and departure by Jeep for the tour, first in the region around Arusha with overnight at the Mkuru Camel Camp (3 nights), then a visit to Lake Manyara Park with overnight at the Crater Rim Lodge in Karatu; visit to the Empakai Crater (with armed guard), overnight at the Ngoro-Ngoro Rhino lodge; departure for the Serengeti (2 days) with a stop at the Ikoma Bush Camp; descent into the crater of the NgoroNgoro Park, return to Karatu; visit to Lake Eyasi, stop at the Hadzabe tribe for the bow-and-arrow hunting trip; return to Karatu; transfer to Lake Natron, long and dusty but very interesting, visit to the wide crater area of Oldoinyo Lengai, stop at the Lake Natron Camp, walking safari admiring the colonies of pink flamingos; return to Arusha - end of tour in Tanzania; departure for the seaside stay in Kenya: transfer by s
cheduled bus from Arusha to Mombasa (7 h) and then onward toward Watamu to reach the "Katana Kombe eco-lodge" located on the seafront near Uyombo, in close contact with the local inhabitants (6 days). all studied with Fabrizio Latini of "Terra di Confine" we are three friends; we usually travel planning the itinerary on our own, but in Africa it isn't possible to move around much by public transport, so we relied on a tour operator that offered us a good value for money; the safari was run by "Mbogo Expedition" of Arusha (Tanzania)

Sono Grazia da torino. Complimenti per il diario sui parchi del nord Tanzania. Anche noi vogliamo fare più o meno il vostro viaggio il prossimo inverno : anche noi voliamo su Nairobi e poi ci trasferiamo ad Arusha con un bus privato.Ti disturbo perche vorrei sapere: -voi avete fatto il visto di ingresso in Tanzania qui in Italia oppure direttamente alla frontiera di Namanga ? Sento in giro pareri discordanti e non sappiamo come fare! - alla frontiera di Namanga vi hanno chiesto il certificato di vaccinazione per la febbre gialla? - Scusa le tante domande e grazie da GRAZIA
rispondo a Grazia di Torino, per quanto riguarda il visto di ingresso per la tanziania noi lo abbiamo fatto alla frontiera, e avevamo il tesserino relativo alla vaccinazione per la febbre gialla, quest'ultimo se ricordo bene l'hanno richiesto alla dogana in aeroporto. ti auguro un buon viaggio in Tanzania!
