Tanzania and Zanzibar

The trip is made up of two parts: - Safari in the parks of northern Tanzania (Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) - A week by the sea in Zanzibar (sunset bungalows in Kendwa - northern Zanzibar) We organised it online with a travel agency in Arusha (riftsafari.com) run by an Italian couple. At first we only wanted to book the safari with them, but since they also offered us the flight and the accommodation in Zanzibar at better prices than we could find searching on our own, we took those too. Looking back, I can say we were very happy with them and I thoroughly recommend them as far as the safari is concerned (they're also very willing to tailor the safari itinerary to your needs). As for Zanzibar, although we were happy there, in hindsight we would have preferred to split the week, spending a few days in Kendwa and a few days on the beaches to the east.
