The story
Swaziland by motorbike Mr Aldo Gallino hosts me at his home in the small village of Amsterdam in South Africa. By trade he collects and has others collect porcini mushrooms on the border with Swaziland. My Suzuki 185 motorbike takes me as far as the border and then, once through customs, I decide to venture into the land of the pines — indeed here logging is the government's main resource. After a few km through the woods, though, the bike starts acting up a bit and so I decide to leave Swaziland and go back into South Africa, where in the evening I discover that the bike has seized up. These two-strokes always cause trouble with the oil. Never two-strokes again, only four-strokes from then on.
