The story
A trip to Sierra Leone to see a diamond mine in the Tongo Diamond Field area. Done on my own, as always, using local transport. On top of that, the country has some very beautiful, little-visited beaches, and decent hotels too. After the war the country is trying to be reborn, but conditions are still critical. Corruption at very high levels; you never stop handing out "tips" to policemen, soldiers, officials, etc. With a bit of calm and a few coins, you manage to solve the problem. Watch out for the swindlers.
