The story

Here I am again in Senegal....two days for work, an always pleasant stopover I must say. The Club Med village is located near the small town of Ngor, a few kilometres from Dakar airport. If I were coming on holiday I wouldn't choose this complex...the beach in fact isn't up to much, and neither is the village....the complex that hosts an almost entirely French clientele is rather old. I've heard that in May it will close to move about 80 km south to the pretty resort of Saly, undoubtedly nicer even if more touristy. Still, enjoying a lovely sunny day (the temperature at this time of year is around 23 degrees) is always pleasant. If you come this way don't miss the fish market in the capital Dakar, visit the small community of Ngor, the island of Gorée and the Pink Lake. The Senegalese are cheerful and always very hospitable, with their captivating smiles and their extraordinary beauty!
