The story

The city of São Tomé is the capital of the small state of São Tomé and Príncipe, in the Gulf of Guinea. April offers the best light, so why not take a few photos around the city. The Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe is a former Portuguese colony, independent since 1975. The official language is Portuguese and the currency is the dobra (1 euro is about 22,000 dobras). It is connected to Europe by two weekly flights to Lisbon (TAP and STP Airways). Other connections: Libreville (Gabon), Luanda (Angola), Sal (Cape Verde), Malabo (Equatorial Guinea).
