The story

I was in Kenya during the Christmas holidays and I had a wonderful time; the place at Watamu was and still is beautiful, a hotel (Barracuda Inn) in a fairytale cove, clear and warm water......the low tide phenomenon that had caused me no small problems the previous year in Zanzibar did not happen here because if I could not swim in the morning, it was possible in the afternoon and vice versa; finally the mosquitoes, not a trace of them, even though in the evening they came round to spray insecticide in the rooms. And now the safari, the reason for my trip and my friends'.

The previous year in Zanzibar I had had an unpleasant experience with the "beach boys" because they had been very suffocating, so I decided to do it myself; browsing the internet I came to this site and lingered over the trip "Luisa and the crocodile" from September 2009; I must say that what I read then came true on my trip a year later, Christmas 2010. ---I entered the Jammy safari website ---then I wrote the email jammysafari@yahoo.com and made an agreement with him; Jammy sent me the details of the tour I would do with him, namely the blue safari, which is the one in the sea, with a spectacular view of the mangroves, and what I nicknamed the red safari, which is the one in the savannah; I call it red because the earth is reddish and the elephants are not grey but reddish.

--What can I say, the safari is a unique experience, I am not sure my words can convince you, you have to do it; what I can state instead (and believe me) is that Jammy's organisation was impeccable; I made him a bank transfer in dollars (but euros are fine too) and I paid the remainder the day before the safari, when Jammy waited for us outside the village; trust me, everything went as he had told me, Jammy's organisation is OK, he is a well-prepared person, he has the tourist guide certification, he and the driver are competent people; I hope this information is useful to you, as it was to me, because believe me having the safari trip already organised saves you the nuisance of the "beach boys", very annoying. I forgot to say that this way we saved money because the hotel's safari tour cost more
