Kenya with Banco Lali

We came back from Kenya only a week ago and already the famous “mal d'Africa” is felt, the desire to return to visit a land rich in charm, emotions and magical atmospheres is indescribable. Our trip lasted 15 days, we stayed at the Twiga Beach ORA Resort where the excellent cuisine and the soft entertainment guaranteed total relaxation, the only negative note is the 1/2 hour of dirt road to reach the resort from Malindi, according to everyone, the worst “road” (if it can be called that...).

During the Safari at the Voi Wildlife Village, we had the luck to meet Banco Lali. We were immediately struck by his extreme helpfulness, his sense of responsibility and his advice aimed at making our excursions practically perfect.

We relied on him also for the Blue Safari, the visit to Malindi, the local villages and the Marafa Canyon. Banco treated us like VIPs, pampering us in our every need and letting us savour the real Kenya, far from the classic tourist destinations.

We felt a deep sense of sadness seeing the living conditions of some villages, in strong contrast with the well-being, abundance, pomp and superfluity to which we are accustomed, both in Italy and in tourist resorts.

Banco guided us with his marked sensitivity to get to know the customs and culture of the local people and to give a moment of happiness to the children encountered along the way.

To all those who want to visit Kenya, we recommend contacting him for any request and booking, both for accommodation and safari, he is certainly an expert guide and not an improvised beach boy.
