By chance I took the most beautiful trip of my life. If I close my eyes and picture my ideal beach, I see Watamu. Tiny blindingly white islets, emerald-green sea. There, on our first day in Kenya, we ate lobster and grilled fish. And what can I say about Robinson Island? The ferryman Caronte, with his overflowing friendliness, puts everyone in a good mood. Lunch, their speciality: crabs, coconut rice and ginger tea introduce you to scents and flavours that are new to us. But Kenya is not only sea. Our ever-present guide, extremely kind and reliable, "Samson", suggested a two-day safari in Tsavo East. A unique experience, to be repeated. I say "we" because it was my friend Donatella who dragged me into this adventure. I will never stop thanking her. "Samson" also took us to visit a village, the ruins of the city of Gedi. In short, there is something for everyone.
And above all you will be surprised by the good manners and helpfulness of these people. See you soon, Kenya.
