We left from Milan Malpensa with Air Italy. The flight was fine both outbound and return, even though the planes aren't much (not even one monitor; well, there was one 30 metres away and it didn't work). We landed in Mombasa; our tour operator was I Viaggi di Atlantide. We struggled to spot that piece of paper with the tour operator's name written on it in marker, and that was the first and last time we saw them... not even because they had delegated a third party, not even a confirmation of the flight on the board..!!! A 2-hour transfer towards Watamu to the Jacaranda Beach Resort, a really lovely property, small and a bit isolated but nice. The food was good and the beach is very pretty; unfortunately full of seaweed and beach boys, but as the days pass you get used to it and they become holiday companions; they're good lads, at least the ones I met.

In fact I didn't meet a single person who did excursions with the resort, but all of them with the beach boys, much better and cheaper. Trip to Malindi, Robinson Island, Blue Safari, Tsavo East safari 2 days. All wonderful.
