Watamu - Aquarius Beach Resort

Magical Kenya! We've just got back from Watamu, where we stayed for 2 weeks at the Aquarius. I recommend it to anyone who really wants to come into contact with the reality of the place, since this resort is inside the village itself. On the very first day we met two special people: Zucchero and Tony Manero, beach boys and tour guides. With Tony we then did the Tsavo East safari: spectacular!!! We slept in the tented camp of the Voi Wildlife Lodge: an experience that stays in your heart. Tony was our guardian angel for the whole holiday: he accompanied us wherever we wanted to go — to Malindi, to the orphanage, to the wood factory, to the beach of love, through the streets of Watamu — and he introduced us to his family.
