Kenya... and the Dream Comes True

Jambo everyone!!! I've been back from Kenya just a few days and what can I say... Africa blues really does exist. I miss terribly the colours, the smells, the people and the children of that land, who are truly special. We stayed at the Barracuda, we had a wonderful time; we met a beach boy, Kassim (Luigi, his Italian name), who made us live Africa until the very last day. With him we did the safari in Tsavo East and stayed in a beautiful 5-star resort with a pool, the blue safari, the Island of Love, Malindi, the ruins of Gede, a wood-carving factory and a visit to the Timboni orphanage — all at a very good price, but beyond that he was extremely kind, helpful and especially reliable. We laughed a lot with the local people and struck up a lovely friendship with some lads from Rome who helped make this holiday something unforgettable.
