Our experience began back in 2001, when we first touched Africa with our own hands in Shanzu, then in 2006 and 2007 in Watamu I met the most sincere and true friends of my life: Mario, Giorgio, Dasha at the Barracuda Inn. With them it was a blast, we did all the excursions with them: the mangroves, Sardinia 2, Robinson Crusoe Island, the devil's kitchen and Shell Island, the Gariseny river, the ruins of Gedi and the safaris to Tsavo and Amboseli. They are extraordinary people; on the Friday, which was the last day, they even organised my birthday complete with an Africa cake and all the children singing for me. It was moving and wonderful at the same time, something unforgettable. I advise you not to listen to what the beach boys say, that it's dangerous and that you're left to fend for yourself. It is NOT TRUE AT ALL, I assure you.
I (like many others) and my girlfriend Claudia have a wonderful relationship and every time we go to Kenya it gets harder and harder to leave, because Africa sickness really exists, says someone who used to be very sceptical. Anyway, it's just me, Luca from Florence; if you like I'll leave you the number of Mario, my dearest Kenyan friend, +254****8724, and you won't regret it.
