The story

It was our first trip to Kenya, to Watamu, and it enchanted us!! We stayed at the Barracuda, recommended to anyone who loves a quiet atmosphere, with entertainment that leaves you in peace. We did all our excursions with the very trusted Amedeo. He accompanied us through the streets of Watamu, took us to Love Island, organised the blue safari and the 2-day safari to Tsavo East, staying at the Voi Lodge. Everything was perfect and at a fair price! Amedeo is a punctual guide, ready to satisfy our every request, reliable, an expert connoisseur of animals: you only had to look at a giraffe to know that it would cross the road! He works at the Tours and Safaris agency in Watamu, duly registered, which received its licence from the Tourism Office in 2010. The agency carries the necessary insurance to guarantee their clients maximum safety during safaris.

He let us enjoy this part of Kenya without any problem, and we will always keep a wonderful memory of him and of Kenya. We will certainly come back, hopefully next year, to visit, with him, the other places in Kenya. Amedeo can be contacted on +254 0254727656218 - abubakar_wtm@yahoo.com - Kenya is a land that stays in your heart; I recommend, to anyone who can, staying at least 2 weeks — one, from personal experience, is really too little! The Beach Boys who will "pester" you on the beach will leave you in peace after a few days, but let's remember that we Italians "colonised" their land and.... we can also let ourselves be accompanied along the beach to talk with them, enjoying their sense of life (hakuna matata, better a little than nothing.....) and their cheerfulness (despite their living conditions), then offering them something to repay them!!! Cristiana
