My wife and I spent a week in November 2011 in Kenya, in Watamu. After evenings of searching on the web we contacted Filippo "low tide" (as everyone in Watamu knows him), who has his own website: with all the contact details to reach him too He replied to us very quickly, with a whole series of safari proposals, short and long, which he organises and follows personally. Although the lodge we had chosen in Tsavo wasn't in the catalogue (Ngutuni), he built us a tailor-made safari, with a 4X4 (which we had requested). Among other things, the price proposed was considerably lower than the catalogues offered in Italy. We sent him our mobile number and, on our arrival at the resort, he contacted us for a face-to-face meeting, so as to discuss the details of the trip.
From the very first meeting he seemed to us helpful, competent and a great connoisseur of the environment in which he works, something not to be underestimated for an Italian making his first trip to Kenya. But it was during the safari, which he accompanied us on, that we realised how important it is for a guide to know places and people to give you an unforgettable experience. So we saw many animals and enchanting places, followed discreetly and competently by Filippo, who managed to make us experience this holiday in a special way. If you're lucky enough to be able to spend a holiday in Kenya, Filippo ( philip.kazungu@gmail.com E-mail address protected from spam bots, you must enable Javascript to view it +254 734 94 59 28) can help you make it better.
