PART 2........
I read a review in which someone complained that the glasses at the beach bar weren't perfectly clean. I noticed it too, but let me also explain why. MANY of us, just because we PAY, feel entitled to treat the people who work there like CRAP, and I assure you they really do work hard. So it happened very often that people would get a drink and, instead of drinking comfortably seated at the bar's little tables, would carry the glasses EVERYWHERE, leaving them in the most unlikely places, I guarantee it.
It's true that the bar staff take their basket and try to gather them up as best they can, constantly, but it's also true that often they simply can't find them, so those few glasses they do track down they try to rinse as best they can and quickly; but it's also true that there are paper cups, the ones available to get water from the dispenser, and that if you hand a paper cup to the bar staff they'll put whatever you ask for in that cup. SIMPLE. WE REALLY ARE RUDE, ARROGANT AND UNCIVILISED; we think we own the world, or worse, other people, when we're on holiday; we feel strong, we want to show others that we can command everyone with a snap of our fingers.
I WAS ASHAMED on several occasions to be part of the human race (of some specimens, obviously); I happened to see a 12-year-old girl who, in a restaurant with her mother, after treating her chair in a way not even primitive people would, ended up breaking one of its slats, and the mother, POLITELY, kicked the slat to put it under the table, stood up and left. But SAYING SORRY? Was that too much for HER MAJESTY? It's just a small, insignificant anecdote, but I assure you that in one week I witnessed truly DISGUSTING things. By the way, I'm not rich, I don't hand out mind-blowing tips, but I am polite and respectful of people; I didn't use the rooms in the main building of the resort, but outside the reception, in a standard sea-view room, a bit older as rooms, but equally excellent and spotlessly clean. The CORAL REEF is one of the best in SHARM, it's truly stunning.
I REALLY RECOMMEND THE SAVITA RESORT FOR A HUGELY PLEASANT STAY.
