We went back to this wonderful sea, and this time we ended up in Abu Dabbab Bay at the Solymar village of Columbus... simply spectacular. Giant turtles, endless multicoloured fish and the spectacle of nature par excellence... the DUGONG. Of the manatee family, it let us pamper it, beginner divers as we were, patiently tolerating our curiosity. A charming sloping beach with fine sand, so we never used the much-hated coral shoes; and at the edges of the bay, a reef still intact and accessible to everyone, absolutely everyone, adults and children, who simply with armbands or water up to their calves could feel the fish swimming among their little legs. Well, what can I say, a truly wonderful place.
