The story

Red Sea.... after about 10 years I return to see one of the most suggestive places to dive, the Red Sea, and specifically the waters facing Sharm. To tell the truth I remembered this corner of Sinai differently; I first visited it in 1992 and then in 1997... definitely different, Sharm less "Russian".... today they palm off on the Russians everything they once palmed off on us Italians. Leaving aside these thoughts of mine, the Red Sea is and will always be a sought-after destination for all the countries that are 4/6 hours' flight away; the sea is decidedly beautiful but for diving what makes the difference is the corals and the fish.

I stayed in a splendid village between old Sharm and new Sharm, with access to the sea and discreet entertainment, but the diving was exceptional, a Voyage into the Blue, a team well coordinated by a very likeable and well-prepared woman, excellent company and involvement. The colours of the sea are wonderful and the emotions here are not lacking even if it is hot... how hot. I fell victim to the usual diarrhoea but, given the fears from other trips, it was well managed so the holiday went smoothly as always, with fun as the theme..... What else can I say, Sharm is beautiful, it has a beautiful sea, but I think that anyone looking for the Sharm of 10 years ago, wilder, less crowded, more genuine and cheaper, has to move further south... Beenice or even better the borders of Sudan. I attach the video of my dives so you can understand the beauty of this sea....
