It was all planned for some time, we book the package for Sharm at the Pyramisa Resort and leave for a week of pure relaxation. Package cost 590 euros all inclusive. Once we arrive we are picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. Our room overlooks the sea and the village is really beautiful.

Day 29 Mar 2003
let's enjoy the sea
We fully enjoy the sunny day. The food isn't the best, but you know that outside of Italy these are the risks.

Day 512 Mar 2003
Naama Bay
We take advantage of the shuttle to visit Naama Bay. A touristy little town with little of real Egyptian life. The insistence of the Egyptians is unmatched, they offer me at least 1000 camels for Laura! The classic proposal they make to all husbands, fiancés or fathers who are with a beautiful woman.

Day 613 Mar 2003
Glass-bottom boat trip
For a few days now there have been some guys on the beach who work for an agency that organizes excursions. They propose various opportunities to us and we choose the excursion with the glass-bottomed boat. We'll do a trip of about 1 hour and 30. While on the boat you can admire the seabeds that this wonderful sea offers and the fish of a thousand colors.

Day 714 Mar 2003
Day trips
By now we are more than rested and so we decide to do the most complete excursion. Passing through the Sinai desert we will arrive at the blue hole, one of the most sought-after destinations by divers. After about an hour of snorkeling, riding dromedaries we will head towards Abou Ghalum, a marine reserve that we will reach after 90 minutes by dromedary. Ouch, my back! Here the place is enchanting, more snorkeling, we will have lunch in a Bedouin tent enjoying excellent fish and we will move again towards the desert. Stop in a small Oasis where we will be offered Bedouin tea (very good) and we resume the journey to Dahab, a very characteristic fishermen's village. Here we will do some shopping and go to the papyrus museum. Return to the hotel around 8 pm. We were no longer used to so much movement!!

Last day
We enjoy the day at the sea. In the afternoon we go to say goodbye to our friend the papyrus seller Josef who as usual will make us die of laughter and we get ready for the return

Day 916 Mar 2003
Italy.
It's one o'clock, and after four and a half hours of flight we land at Malpensa. The vacation was really beautiful, there's only one regret; not having seen a single pyramid! We'll make up for it next time
