A trip of relaxation and culture, discovering a civilisation thousands of years old. Scheduled flight out with Neos and return with Livingstone, although the latter gave us only a sandwich for dinner; we stayed at the Royal Brayka village of Going, where we relaxed thanks to a fantastic climate and went snorkelling in a sea without equal. Splendid beach with a sandy entrance, very beautiful coral reef and lots and lots of fish, we didn't only see turtles. We did two excursions; on the first we went to Luxor, where we visited the grandiose Temples of Karnak and of Amun Ra, we crossed the Nile to visit the Colossi of Memnon and the majestic Valley of the Kings, and finally we visited a papyrus shop and one where alabaster was worked.
With the second excursion we had fun doing a Safari in the desert aboard jeeps, quad bikes and dromedaries, visiting a Bedouin village where we had dinner and observed the stars. The cost of the trip was fairly low; the Going staff and the Egyptian guides were good; the village service was a little poor, though it is very large and enjoys a fantastic position. I would say a trip to recommend to those who love the heat; we will certainly go back.
