THE LAND OF THE SUN! Egypt is a fascinating land not only for its great history and the beautiful, imposing temples that leave tourists open-mouthed, but also for its very clear sea, with exceptional visibility that I have never found anywhere else! There's no point dwelling on the underwater life, because we all know how much richness there is in the Red Sea, but I'd just like to point out that for the first time, in Marsa Alam, I managed to see a moray eel and to swim quite close to a turtle, even though I'd already had the chance to see one in the Maldives.
The immense desert beaches, to my eyes, were very fascinating because they contrasted with the deep blue of the Red Sea, and its shades reminded me of the colours of the sea in Zanzibar! Unforgettable too, without a doubt, were the sunsets of a very deep red, and after dinner, thanks to the great visibility of the sky, we could admire some constellations, among them the Plough. The desert jeep ride is also worth doing, because it's great fun and you go in search of very evocative places! We stayed at the Floriana Dream Lagoon Resort.
